A large Commercial/Residential Development may need more than a "Type III" Install around just the project perimeter. Many factors go into the Proper Design and Implementation of an Erosion Control Plan. It Needs to be Performance Based, looking at the Site Topography, the Soil Types, the On Site and Off Site Wetlands and Other Environmental Concerns, the Final Site Grading and Drainage Plans as well as Other Conditions that Effect Erosion During Construction Activities. Often, we work with the design engineers to identify and revise the SWPPP prior to initiating implementation of the plan.
