Southeast Soil & Erosion Control is a multi generational, family owned business based in Highlands County, Florida. Core staff members have over 50 years of experience in the design, implementation and inspection of erosion prevention and SWPPP plans.
What We Do
At Southeast SEC, we provide complete erosion prevention solutions from the start to completion of your project. This includes SWPPP preparation, multiple grades of silt fence installation, staked and floating turbidity barriers, inlet protection devises, tree and specie protection barriers, construction entrances, geo mats, hydroseeding, wetland restoration planting, mandatory inspections including pre-programmed drone flights, installation, maintenance and end of project material removal.
Why We Do It
For money of course. But there is another reason. As Florida natives, we respect the land, water and environment. With over 50 years in the civil engineering industry, we have noticed that erosion prevention has been viewed by many, including regulators, as a "box" to be checked and then ignored. While we are far from being "tree huggers", we do see the need for improvement in the design, installation and maintenance of this often overlooked but very integral part of the site work process. All of our team members receive intensive training on the proper installation procedure of all products. Our inspectors are on the job full time to insure that when we complete a job, it has been done the right way, the Southeast SEC way.

We have P.E.'s on our team who specialize in the preparation of Site Specific Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP's) which are tailor made for your project. We have the resources to "Flag the Lines" we need to follow based on CAD Drawings supplied by Engineer. We have the heavy equipment needed to "clear" the allowed path for silt fence install. We also have RTK drone technology that we utilize to make the required inspections.
